Things to do in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (Budget Traveller)

Kota Kinabalu has several attractive places to visit. What is great about it is, it's free. Good for budget traveller like you and I.  Here is a list of a few places and activities that can be done in Kota Kinabalu.

πŸ‘‰1. Pantai Teluk Likas, Kota Kinabalu

Type of place: This is a public place
Transportation: Uber, Grab Car, Taxi, Car
Activities: Picnic, Strolling on the beach, playing kites, jogging alone or with your loved ones.
Budget: 0
No entrance fee or anything, maybe you just need to spend on the transportation from your place to this place.
For a budget traveller, it is recommended as you don't have to worry spending money here. Maybe on transportation from your hostel or hotel to this beach. Once you are here, you can see many families doing their leisure activities like picnic and playing kites. From this beach, you also can view some part of Kota Kinabalu Town. Pardon my amateur photography skill, this is the best I could capture. Hehew. Anyway, you can google more views of this place.

πŸ‘‰2. Tanjung Aru Beach

Red Bean Ice

I have no idea what is the name of this enormous colourful ice building, but for sure you can see this from afar once someone ordered it. Hope you have empty stomach for this. Sharing it with your family and friends would be a good idea.

Rainbow fruit juice, i guess. I forgot the name but it is tasty for sure.
